There is a reason why Idarado is trusted to tell stories from the backcountry. Located minutes away from pristine wilderness and rugged mountains, our office is a little more quiet each autumn. On any given week, at least one of us is out hunting. We know what it’s like to traverse an exposed mountainside, to hike gear thousands of feet up only to return down to the valley floor, and to put on cold boots in the morning. As a collection of individuals who are enthusiastic about hunting, Idarado can seamlessly integrate into any hunt to document and share the experience. Not only can we keep up, stay quiet, and be self sufficient, we have cameras ready at all times to document the action. After all, Idarado’s roots are in hunting video production.

Idarado’s approach to hunting video production focuses on the raw human experience. In our hunting video productions, we emphasize the sense of place. We look for defining details of the environment. We capture the interaction between man and the wild. For example, what is is like for a hunter to travel up a steep, scree-laden hillside blanketed in Devil’s Club? What is it like to put on frozen boots on a cold, November morning in the mountains? What sort of bond do you gain from a shared experience with the other hunters in your party? Answering questions like these is what motivates us. Not only will we do the exposed traverse, we will also have a camera out.
